1.Connection steps
(1)Confirm the interface
Observe the interface between the RGB LED strip and the controller to ensure that the red (R), green (G), blue (B) lines and common negative electrode (-) of the light strip are consistent with the corresponding interface on the controller.
(2)Connect the light strip and the controller
Connect the positive and negative poles of the LED RGB to the positive and negative poles of the controller.
Connect the red (R), green (G), and blue (B) lines of the light strip to the corresponding red, green and blue terminals on the controller respectively.
(3)Connect the controller and the power supply
Connect the positive electrode of the power supply to the positive input of the controller, and the negative electrode is connected to the negative input.
(4) Fixed connection
Loosen the terminals on the controller and insert the wires into the terminals to ensure that the wires are in direct contact with the terminals, rather than the insulation layer. Then tighten the terminals to secure the wires.
2. About RGB Controllers
(1) Switch controller control
Use buttons, knobs, etc. on the controller to operate, and you can realize functions such as color selection, brightness adjustment, mode switching.
(2) Wireless remote control control
The color, brightness and mode of the light strip are remotely controlled by the buttons on the wireless remote control.
(3) Bluetooth APP control
Some RGB LED light support control through applications on smartphones or tablets, and you can use your phone or tablet to select colors, adjust brightness, set timing tasks, etc.
3. Things to note
(1)When connecting the led strip RGB, be sure to disconnect the power supply to avoid electric shock.
(2)Select the appropriate wire or soldered connector to ensure that the connection is firm and reliable.
(3)Follow the correct polarity connection cable, otherwise the RGB light may not work properly.
(4)Ensure that the controller is compatible with the RGB strip and power supply.
(5) If you need to connect a longer flexible rgb smart led strip, you may need to consider the voltage drop.
