1. The silicone materials used in silicone neon led strip are mainly divided into the following three types:
Mixture of silicone and PVC
Made of silica gel mixed with PVC material, it has high temperature resistance, weather resistance, softness and flame retardant, and high hardness. Suitable for indoor and outdoor decoration, architectural lighting and other high requirements .
Mixture of silicone and PU
The mixture of silica gel and PU material has the characteristics of high temperature resistance, weather resistance, anti-aging, and moderate hardness. Often used in billboards, car lighting, stage decoration and other fields.
pure silicone material
Using a single silica gel composition, with high temperature resistance, waterproof, UV protection and flame retardant properties, soft and economical and practical. Suitable for LED lighting, furniture decoration, video game equipment and other scenes.
2. Pure silicone materials are classified according to its performance.
Ordinary silica gel:
The color is translucent, milky white, light yellow, gray, etc., the hardness is between 30°-70°, the density is 1.1-1.12g/cm², and the elongation is 400%. Commonly used in mobile phone buttons, miscellaneous parts, conductive rubber and other low grade silicone products.
Meteorological silica gel (pure silica gel) : the color is transparent, the hardness is between 30°-80°, the density is 1.1-1.12g/cm², and the elongation is 600%-700%. Due to good transparency and strong tensile strength, it is often used in high-grade products requiring high elasticity such as silicone tubes and protective sleeves.
