1.The relationship between lumens and brightness
Luminance is usually expressed in candelas per square meter (cd/m²), and it measures the intensity of light emitted on the surface of a light source or an object. Brightness mainly focuses on the surface light emission of the light source, while lumen focuses on the total amount of light emitted by the light source.
Luminous Flux is the content measured in lumens, which represents the total amount of light emitted by a light source in all directions. The greater the luminous flux, the more light the light source emits.
2. The relationship between lumens and power
The lumen value of LED strip is related to its power. Generally speaking, the higher the power, the higher the lumen value.
LED strip lights are composed of multiple LED beads. The luminous efficiency of the beads determines how many lumens of luminous flux can be generated under a certain power. Generally speaking, LED beads of better quality can produce a higher lumen value under the same power, that is, they have a higher luminous efficiency. For instance, some high-end light strip products can achieve higher lumen output at the same power by optimizing circuit design and heat dissipation structure, while also ensuring the stability and service life of the light strips.
