1. Anti-collision

The LED light strip should not be impacted during installation and maintenance. The impact may cause damage, short circuit or burnout of the internal parts of the light strip.

2. Anti-bending

LED light strips avoid bending during installation, and large bending during installation will cause desoldering and short circuits of the light strips.

3. Reasonable use time

Light bulbs can easily cause heat when used for a long time. Some users use the light strip as a night light at home for a long time. Even if the light strip has a long life, long-term work is a fatal injury. Reasonable arrangement of the use time of the light strip is also a way to maintain the light strip.

4. Avoid continuous high temperatures

LEDs cannot withstand high temperatures continuously, and their chips will be burned out by high temperatures. Therefore, the soldering iron used when repairing LED light strips must be a temperature-controlled soldering iron to limit the temperature to a range, and random changes and settings are prohibited.

5. Standardize cutting

When the light strip is too long or does not match the size of the decoration part, it is often necessary to cut the LED light strip. Each section has a (scissor) mark and must be cut within the marking range to ensure the integrity of the internal parts.

6. Moisture prevention

If the lamp strip or lamp county is exposed to the air for a long time, it will absorb moisture. Dehumidification and waterproofing are done before use to avoid heat expansion of the moisture in the LED lamp strip due to the high temperature and long time period during overflow soldering, causing the LED packaging to explode, which indirectly leads to overheating and damage to the LED chip.

7. Static burnout

Since LEDs are electrostatic sensitive components, if the electrostatic protection work is not done well during the production process, the LED chip will be burned due to static electricity, resulting in the LED light strip not being lit.

8. Regular inspection

Regular inspections of lamps at home should not only improve service life, but also improve safety.
